QUICK START GUIDE
Hang the numbered drops in order — start at the corner, work out
How your roll is packed
Peel the next drop off the roll and hang it — no sorting needed.
Each drop is ≈ 800 mm wide. Keep them in sequence.
Installation sequence
Hang Drop 1 first at the corner, then work outwards in number order in both directions.
Trim allowance
Every drop is cut long.
Each drop carries roughly 100 mm of spare material at the top and bottom to absorb uneven ceilings and out-of-square walls. When you position a drop, keep at least 50 mm overhang top and bottom — then trim to the cornice and skirting once it's aligned. Hang first, trim last.
Drop width ≈ 800 mm · 10 mm overlap between drops
Installation steps
-
1Prep the wall.
Wipe it down with warm water mixed with 4 drops of dish soap per 2 L of water, then let it dry.
-
2Mark a vertical plumb line.
Use a pencil and a spirit level — this is the only line you'll set.
-
3Check top & bottom dimensions from the plumb line.
Align the drop to the shorter of the two (e.g. top 798 mm / bottom 785 mm → align to the bottom). Expect the panel to wrap around the corner by ~15 mm at the top.
-
4Unroll the first drop.
Remove the tape holding each drop on the roll, then unroll Drop 1. Drops are packed in install order — see "How your roll is packed" above.
-
5Hang the first drop.
Position it with at least 50 mm overhang at the top and bottom.
-
6Squeegee as you go.
Progressively press the drop to the wall as the adhesive backing is peeled away, working from the centre outwards.
-
7Trim top and bottom.
Run your utility knife along the squeegee, using it as a guide against the cornice and the top of the skirting.
-
8Add the next drop — align the graphic.
Match the graphic top and bottom. Drops have a 10 mm overlap between layers so your wall colour can't bleed through. Once the level line is set on Drop 1 there's no need to measure or level again — just align the graphics.
-
9Continue to walls & windows.
Use the squeegee as a guide to cut around walls and window frames.Tip: vinyl can grab a frame before it's tight in the corner — make sure you're tight into the corner of the frame before the material sticks.
